Work Is Occasionally Good For Something

While pulling books from the photography section I came across a beautiful monograph by Lili Almog called Perfect Intimacy. It is a series of photos taken of Carmelite nuns and their monastery. It included relevant quotes, interspersed throughout the photos. This one, from the Testimonies to St. Teresa of the Andes, I found quite staggering:

"If a man is capable of enamoring a woman to the point of making her leave all for him, don't you think that God is capable of making His call irresistible?"

It reminded me of Someone.
